Alerts

Create price alerts from the workspace and manage them from the Alerts tab.

Alerts help you mark price levels that matter to your execution plan without sitting on the chart full-time.

Use this page alongside Trade if alerts are part of your normal execution workspace.

Where You Create Alerts

Alerts can be set from the Alerts tab in the lower activity area next to Fill History, or directly from the chart by right-clicking at the level you want and choosing Add alert (the menu item shows the exact price under the cursor, so the alert is pre-filled at that level). On mobile, create alerts from the Alerts tab.

Alert Creation Flow

  1. Open Create Alert from the Alerts tab, or right-click the chart and choose Add alert at the level under the cursor.
  2. Confirm the Market.
  3. Set the Trigger Price.
  4. Choose whether price should trigger Above, Crossed, or Below.
  5. Choose whether the alert should run Once or Repeat.
  6. Choose the Alert Sound and Play Count.
  7. Save the alert.

How to Choose the Trigger Direction

Above

Use Above when you want the alert only after price moves up through a level and is now above it.

Practical example: you want an alert if BTC trades above a breakout level you are watching.

Crossed

Use Crossed when the important event is the level being crossed, regardless of whether price came from above or below.

Practical example: you want an alert any time price touches and moves through a key level that may change your plan.

Below

Use Below when you want the alert only after price moves down through a level and is now below it.

Practical example: you want an alert if price loses a support level and your long idea is no longer valid.

Once vs Repeat

  • Once fires the alert a single time for that setup.
  • Repeat keeps the alert active for repeated triggers according to the configured rule.

Use Once for one-off decision points. Use Repeat for levels you want to keep monitoring over time.

Manage Existing Alerts

The Alerts tab is the management view for alerts you already created.

What you do here:

  • Review the alert by Market, Price, Direction, and Sound.
  • Use the Enable Toggle to turn an alert on or off without deleting it.
  • Use Edit to change the configuration.
  • Use Delete to remove it.

Practical Management Flow

  1. Open the Alerts tab.
  2. Find the alert by market or price.
  3. Decide whether you want to edit it, disable it temporarily, or delete it.
  4. Save the updated alert if you edited it.

If you also use on-chart alert markers, review the chart overlay settings in Settings.
